The performance examines the interface between visual stimulus and inner bodily perceptual response. With my eyes closed, I generate visual afterimages through the stimulation of my eyelids — fleeting phenomena of light that appear as inner apparitions within the eye’s field of perception. These images are unstable and exist only in the moment of their perception.

I attempt to translate these immaterial visual impressions into a material form by fixing them onto paper with fingertips colored with eyeshadow. Drawing thereby becomes a direct translation of inner perception into a visible trace.

These subjective visual phenomena are not external objects; they arise solely in the process of seeing itself. The attempt to materialize them through bodily movement is understood as an investigation into the origin of perception — that moment in which the separation between the one who sees and the thing seen is not yet stable.

What emerges are drawings that do not depict external reality, but rather translate inner sensory impressions into a haptic presence, expanding the boundaries of conventional drawing.
