The forms of afterimages, which otherwise float only within the hidden, private space of one’s own body, emerge here into the external world and enter into a dialogue with the viewer. Through a process of metamorphosis, these fleeting phenomena take on a tangible, material form.

The installation uses the changing daylight from the skylight as a living medium: with their eyes open, viewers perceive the physical structure of the work; when they close their eyes, the incoming light transforms the work into an inner, bodily experience.

A dynamic interplay thus emerges, in which the boundary between the external object and one’s own subjective perception becomes permeable.
